Create your first audiobook

Use a clean, final copy of the book. Removing duplicate title pages, indexes, and unrelated appendices gives you the best listening experience.

• Have your EPUB, PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, or Markdown file ready.
• Confirm that you have permission to create an audio version.
• For scanned PDFs, make sure the text can be selected and copied.

   Choose Create audiobook

   From your dashboard, select Create, then upload a file or choose a catalog title that you are legally authorized to convert.

   Review the book details

   Check the title, author, cover art, language, chapter list, and estimated narration length.

   Choose a narrator

   Listen to the same passage in several voices. Pick the voice that best fits the pace and tone of the book.

   Start creating

   Confirm the price or available credits, then start production. You can leave the page while BookWave works.

BookWave extracts the text, identifies chapter boundaries, prepares narration, and assembles the final audio files. Your dashboard shows the current stage and an updated completion estimate.
